A sweet little girl…

This is why I love my job…I get to meet the sweetest little children! Every one of them leaves an impact on me in one way or another. This little 15 month old was so fun to photograph. She’s at an age that is typically tough to photograph, but she gave me such great looks and everything she did was so stinkin’ cute! I usually get about 30 good shots in one hour…I got about 50 of her! This makes it soooo hard to choose…it’s a grueling task!!!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

We LOVE Dr. Seuss!
I’ve been reading Dr. Seuss books to my kids since they were born and now Andrew can read them out loud & very slowly himself! Green Eggs & Ham is the first book he read! I was cleaning the house the other day and I walked by his room. This is what I saw…Andrew reading this book, on his beanbag… which is on top of his bed. It was a cherished moment! If you look closely, you’ll see his Ipod Touch laying next to his feet. I LOVE that he chose to read instead of playing games! He has an early love for learning and that is what matters the most! I love Dr. Seuss for creating such engaging stories that encourage young readers by using repeating simple sight words. Andrew was so excited to know that he could read this book cover to cover! You can see it in his grin!!!

Kennedy’s Valentine!

Kennedy has always shared friends with her BIG brother…this young man is her first friend that she has had all to herself! She’ pretty proud of this fact too:) These two are so funny together! It’s quite obvious how much they adore each other! Best buds!!! They had a little party after school on Valentines Day! They always manage to make every second a party!! Here’s a few pics…

Session with Baby “C”…

I was on Facebook when this little guys’ aunt posted pictures of his arrival! How stinkin’ cute is he? There’s nothing like gazing upon a newborn…so peaceful, sweet and innocent! I was so excited to get the opportunity to take his first professional photos! For some reason I was thinking he was going to be a tiny little baby…I was a bit surprised at how big he was at 3 weeks… he was over 11 pounds! And growing….he spent much of our session filling his belly! I have a feeling he’s not going to be little for very long! His dad is 6’5″, so that might have something to do with it! We still managed to get some cute shots in between feedings!

My trip…

It’s been driving me crazy that I went to Europe in October and I’m still not finished editing my photos! I’m two thirds finished and I’m trying to figure out how to share them…this blog won’t allow me to post 800 plus pics so I might have to put them on Instaproof. I’ll figure it out in my spare time eventually! Here’s a few that I had printed for my dining room. These were taken in Venice, Italy. What an amazing city! I used to be a decorative painter and I learned to paint on walls to make them appear as if the wall had broken away and the brick was exposed…now I’ve seen it with my own eyes! The real deal…everywhere!!!

Valentine session!

Valentines Day is right around the corner! Here’s a recent photo of my daughter…her nicknames are Kenny Bug, Kenny B, Bug, Bugger, Buggy and so on! It’s easy to get the name when you are as cute as a bug! I was very happy to get this photo…taking her picture can be challenging sometimes! This was taken to show how last Saturdays’ Valentine Mini Sessions would look!
I will post them here in the next few days to show how great they turned out! Thank you to all 11 families who participated! The kids looked amazing! I had so much fun and enjoyed every minute!

My quiet blog…

Sometimes it’s hard to find the balance between work, home and family. Most of the time I do pretty well…I always figure it out. Lately, I’ve felt the need to focus on my kids. They mean the most to me and I can never get back the time that flies by. So my blog is quiet and my FB page has dust on it, but it’s only because I’m lovin’ on my kids!
