What To Expect?

So you booked a session with AV Portraits and now you’re wondering how it all works?

Before

Once you have contacted AVPortraits with your interest in a booking a session, I will send you a New Client Welcome Email. This includes all of the information you need to know and helps me to personalize your session. It also gives me an idea of how your session will run. From there we will set up a time, date and location. You will also be asked to sign a portrait agreement and (optional) model release form. A deposit of $25 is due at this time. Once the business stuff is out of the way, we can get to the fun part…your session!

During

As a photographer, my goal is to capture the THINGS you or your children DO naturally. The chosen location should be somewhere that makes everyone feel comfortable, happy and relaxed! Suggestions will be featured on the Welcome Email. During your session, I will suggest locations according to the NATURAL light available. I prefer shooting in NATURAL light, but not direct sunlight. I will direct you to where the good light is!  I also prefer not to POSE too much, but I understand everyone needs gentle guidance to feel comfortable, so I will help when needed.

After

Your images will be ready approximately 10 days after your session, in a private gallery listed under the PROOFING section , on this sites HOME page. CD’s will be ready in one week for you to pick up.  For those ordering prints, I will email  you a PASSWORD. You will have 2 WEEKS to view and order your pictures. If you need more than 2 weeks, I charge $15 per week to keep your gallery online. Once you have viewed your pictures and are ready to order please Call, Email, Text or Facebook me with all of your information.  You can also use the ordering system featured in the proofing gallery. I will send out an invoice and once payment is received, I will place your order!

Please allow at least one week for your order to arrive. There is a CHARGE for orders delivered directly to you but, Pick up is FREE!
